In Vitro Studies on Pinus koraiensis (I) -Establishment and Growth of Callus- <Jour. Kor. For. Soc. 51-36 1983> Corresponding author ygpark@knu.ac.kr
Embryo tissue from Pinus koraiensis was established in culture on CD and WS basal medium supplemented with the auxin (NAA, 2.4-D, IBA) and kinetin. The various combinations of growth regulators were studied in order to determine the specific requirements of the callus tjssue in vitro. The inorganic nutrient combination of GD medium was found to be better than that of WS medium. GD basal medium supplemented with 0.1 ppm NAA and 0.1 ppm kinetin was the most successful nutrient combination for the growth of callus induced from th embryo of Pinus koraiensis.
Key words: Pinus koraiensis, in vitro, callus
